From researching the brand's history and competitors to ideating campaign objectives, a media plan and an experiential idea featuring the National Parks, this opportunity to work with a legendary company to solve real challenges was an insightful and fun one.

Elgin Parks & Rec Foundation

Led team of 5 Rutgers Business School grad students in creating a Google Search Ad Grant Campaign. Through Google's Nonprofit Marketing Immersion Program, we audited, strategized, built, optimized, ran, analyzed and reported a month-long campaign for Elgin Parks & Recreation Foundation's annual fundraiser.

Mall of America

I got to play Copywriter and Voiceover artist for Boundaryless’s summer ad agency program. With the task of conceiving, strategizing and creating a marketing campaign for Mall of America’s 30th birthday celebration, my team's agency, 5BRAINS, was the first runner-up in the best-of-show competition! As someone who didn’t formally study marketing or advertising in undergrad, the opportunity to take part in this program was truly a game-changer. Not only did we work with an amazing client on a hands-on project and address a real business challenge, but we got to network with professionals in the industry, attend informative presentations, and participate in workshops.

Led group of 5 Rutgers Business School grad students for the MS in Digital Marketing program's capstone project. We analyzed a local BBQ franchise's current Digital Marketing Strategy and offered suggestions for improving awareness and engagement and, ultimately, achieving a greater ROI.

Buhi Bags

Ranked 5th overall in KPI Revenue, and #1 in Impressions and Likes, in Rutgers Business School's class of 28 grad students. Targeted 7 buyer personas over Q4 across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok for a diverse bag brand modeled after Herschel Supply. Wrote copy, selected creative and scheduled this Social Media Marketing Strategy with Organic, Paid, and Influencer components, using a platform similar to Hootsuite (Stukent's Simternship).

Social Media & Fundraising Strategies


As a Producer, I tried out ideas that happened to bloom into a winning social media strategy, increased funds raised from 32% to 46% in the first 24 hours of crowdfunding, and secured the film’s first $2,000 donor. I also crafted messaging that partnered our production with multiple brands for sponsored product placements.

As an Associate Producer, I created and sent out the film's quarterly email newsletter with Mailchimp, sourced and contacted prospects for fundraising, and constructed social media content strategies across Instagram and Facebook, increasing Followers by 2,428% over the first year I got ahold of the account (the numbers don't lie).
